Banking & Financial Services
| |
Our Banking & Financial Services Department is pre-eminent amongst such groups in major Irish law firms and advises on the full range of banking and financial activities undertaken in Ireland.
Our lawyers work on many of the most innovative financing transactions in the Irish market and advise on the most complex regulatory issues. Some of the more significant specialist areas of expertise within our practice are listed below. In addition, we advise on e-banking, including the provision of financial services over the internet and through other electronic means, and on the regulation of consumer credit in the context of many different businesses and industries.
We often draw on the resources of our London office for financings in the London market.
We also regularly act for banks and financial services providers on issues such as regulatory compliance issues, enforcement of guarantees and security, negotiation disputes, employment disputes, insolvency issues, breach of confidence and defamation claims and discovery orders and requests from public inquiries.
