Jane is Head of McCann FitzGerald’s Restructuring & Insolvency Group. She has advised extensively on rescues and insolvencies of companies engaged in a wide variety of businesses, frequently involving cross-border issues. She also has experience of fraud investigations, including tracing assets abroad.
Jane is regarded as a leading expert in the insolvency area and has written and lectured extensively on this and related subjects. In 2000 Jane was elected as the first Irish President of the European insolvency practitioners' organisation, INSOL Europe. She is a founder member of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners, is a former council member of INSOL Europe and a former director of INSOL International.
