11 May 2012

At the Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence 2012 held last evening in Amsterdam, McCann FitzGerald won the "Ireland Client Service Law Firm of the Year". This award was made in respect of only eight countries and reflects feedback made by clients to Chambers as part of their research. This is the second year in a row Chambers has honoured McCann FitzGerald, having named the firm Irish Law Firm of the year in 2011.

The Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence are presented annually and honour outstanding law firms and legal professionals around the world. The awards reflect both pre-eminence in key practice areas, and achievements over the last 12 months, including notable work, strategic growth, excellence in client service, and contribution to the legal profession.

In this fiercely competitive market, there is no doubt that all firms strive for the highest possible standards of client service. In making the award Chambers cited McCann FitzGerald’s clients as having said: "The firm always puts its clients first, they meet tight deadlines and really step up to the plate. Furthermore, the team is flexible and consistently excellent and the lawyers are cohesive and liaise well together. From a client perspective, they are seamless."

Accepting the award, McCann FitzGerald Chairman, John Cronin said: "We are very pleased to be recognised by Chambers, and we thank them and our clients for this accolade. We consider it an honour to have the firm’s work for our clients recognised in this way and we are very grateful that our clients have continued to use the firm on their most significant business transactions, critical disputes and challenging legal and regulatory matters".
