McCann FitzGerald has extensive experience of acting for both lenders and borrowers in the Irish and international loan markets through our Dublin and London offices. Our clients include Irish and international financial institutions, Irish corporate borrowers and international corporate groups borrowing funds through Irish subsidiaries.
We advise on a wide range of banking facilities, including secured, unsecured, bilateral and syndicated facilities, and facilities for investment grade and non-investment grade borrowers. We also have experience in trade and commodity financing, structured finance, receivables financing and export credit transactions.
Expertise
Our Corporate Banking Group comprises lawyers with extensive expertise and experience in all forms of secured and unsecured lending including acquisition and leveraged finance, debt restructuring, property and development loans and general working capital facilities.
We occupy a particular niche in the area of multi-layered financings in the context of leveraged buy-outs and acquisitions, as well as handling the more straightforward transactions involving facilities for major Irish businesses and overseas businesses with Irish operations.
The Group is supported with both expertise and significant resources in each of the specialist fields required in the course of a corporate banking transaction, including specialists in corporate, derivatives, mergers and acquisitions, competition, tax, real property, construction and insolvency.
