Each summer we run a select internship programme for final and penultimate year students and for graduates who wish to gain experience in a corporate legal environment.
Our internship programme has been carefully structured to provide exposure to challenging and interesting work and to give students an insight into what it would be like to work as a trainee in McCann FitzGerald.
For the two week period of the internship, students are placed in one of the following departments: Banking & Financial Services, Corporate, Dispute Resolution & Litigation, Commercial Real Estate or Construction. Assigned to a solicitor, the intern performs the duties and responsibilities of a trainee, working on client projects and transactions.
At McCann FitzGerald we place a huge emphasis on training. The internship programme gives interns relevant technical skills and expertise to complete all tasks assigned to them and to assist in making decisions about their future career.
The firm has an active sports and social committee and interns are invited to attend social events including team events and outings.
Our Summer Internship Programme 2012 will be held from Monday, 11 June to Friday, 22 June 2012.
